Cannellini Bean Dip
I had a few ingedients I needed to use up. This was a cannellini bean dip that was so silky and luxurious! It's similar to hummus but I find it much more smooth. Heres how to make it...
INGREDIENTS
1 Can of Cannellini Beans, Rinsed
1 Clove of garlic
Tahini Paste
Cumin
Lemon
Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Olive Oil
Dill
Salt and Pepper (no not the 90's group, still love them)
Pistachios (or whatever topping you may want)
Directions
Put beans, garlic, tahini, cumin, S n P, lemon juice, and cayenne in a blender and just let it go until its creamy. And a bit of olive oil to help it along. (This is done to taste, so make sure you try it along the way)
Once done, empty into a serving bowl. Top with olive oil (lightly), chopped pistachios and dill. Flake salt on top is a nice touch as well.
That's it!! Serve with crackers or toasted pita, even veggies. Easy for guests before dinner AND you can make it ahead of time. Just add the toppers at the end so they don't get soggy. Enjoy!
